Get everything organized and set your goals ahead of time so that when you’re ready to work, you can get right down to business. By spending a little time here and there to get things more organized you can save a whole lot more time when it’s actually time to call prospects, do online marketing, or return emails.

2. Create a “To Do” List

Making a list is perhaps the easiest way to make sure you get the most results out of your work time. However, it’s something that so few people actually do. When you first sit down to get to work, take a couple of minutes to write out everything you want to get accomplished for your business that day. Break your daily goals into even smaller goals with an exact amount of time listed for each activity. When you have a list to visually look at, you’ll be more focused and get more accomplished. Also, every time you get to cross something off of that list, you’ll get a wonderful sense of accomplishment!

3. Keep Distractions To A Minimum

If you really want to be truly productive with your time, limit the chance of distractions occurring while you work. Be sure to turn off your instant messenger or Skype if you’re on your computer. Power down your cell phone, take your land line phone off of the hook, kill the music, the television, and let everyone in the house know that you’re working and that you’re not to be distracted!

Make sure that when you’re working, you’re WORKING! Don’t open a web browser as to ensure that you won’t surf the web aimlessly or check your web-based email. Save all of those activities for after you’re done working and have accomplished your daily goals.
