At a typical 9 to 5 job you can usually just show up, pretend that you’re working, and still earn a paycheck every two weeks. That is at least as long as your boss doesn’t find out

However, when you start your own MLM business you can’t lie to yourself. That’s because you are your own boss. You can pretend all you want at the big local meeting but at the end of it all, you’re either working it or you’re not.

Working an MLM business is ALL about results and you can’t fake results. So if you’re not willing to get to work and be consistent, an MLM business might not be right for you because you just can’t fake it to yourself.

Why you would want to fake yourself out? You’re only hurting your own pocket after all. It’s sort of like cheating on your diet. You can “cheat” all you want but when push comes to shove, if you’re not losing weight you have nobody to blame but YOU!

Still, despite the fact that you can’t fake it to yourself, people still do. They sit in their home offices and they do everything but work. They organize their desk, they hang out on Facebook, and they might even write a blog or two. However, if you’re not talking to prospects on a regular basis you’re not going to be growing your check.  Period!

If you want to start seeing success you’re going to need to stop playing solitaire on your computer, pick up the phone, and make some calls! Otherwise you’re just lying to yourself when you dream about that big house and dream car that you’re going to buy when you make it big.

Yes it’s true, you can fake it with your friends, your business partners, your family, your dog, but you might as well give up because in Network Marketing, you can’t fake it to yourself!
